Job Summary
Senior Solution Engineer at Snowflake focused on presenting technology and value to executives and technical contributors, working hands-on with prospects through the sales cycle from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation. Collaborates with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake’s products and positioning. Requires strong presentation skills, deep knowledge of database/data warehouse technologies, SQL, Python, and the ability to translate business problems into Snowflake solutions while staying current with AI trends.
Required Qualifications
- 7-8 years of industry experience with at least 5 years in a pre-sales environment
- Outstanding presenting skills to technical and executive audiences
- Broad experience with large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technology, ETL, analytics and cloud technologies (Data Lake, Data Mesh, Data Fabric)
- Hands-on expertise with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python
- Ability to connect customer business problems to Snowflake solutions
- Ability to conduct deep discovery of customer architecture and map to Snowflake data architecture
- University degree in CS/engineering/math or related; equivalent experience; Masters preferred
- Experience with GSIs (EY, Deloitte, Accenture) beneficial
