Job Summary
Senior Solution Engineer at Snowflake who will present Snowflake technology to executives and technical contributors, demonstrate value throughout the sales cycle, and help position Snowflake in relation to competitive technologies. You will work hands-on with prospects to run demos and proofs of concept, collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve products and messaging, and translate customer architecture into Snowflake solutions. Requires 7-8 years of industry experience (5+ in pre-sales), strong presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences, experience with large-scale database/data warehouse tech, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies (Data Lake/Data Mesh/Data Fabric), proficiency with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python, and a university degree in CS/engineering/mathematics or related fields (Masters preferred). Strong familiarity with GSIs (beneficial) and a passion for AI and intelligent automation are valued.
Required Qualifications
- 7-8 years of industry experience with a minimum of 5 years within a pre-sales environment
- Outstanding presenting skills to technical and executive audiences
- Broad range of experience within large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technology, ETL, analytics and cloud technologies (Data Lake, Data Mesh, Data Fabric)
- Hands-on expertise with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python
- Ability to connect a customer’s business problems with Snowflake’s solutions
- University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experience; Masters in Data Science or Business Administration is a plus
