Job Summary
Senior Solution Engineer in SailPoint's India team focusing on presales for identity security solutions. Responsible for discovering customer requirements, mapping SailPoint identity governance and access management capabilities to business needs, delivering platform demonstrations, and articulating value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Role requires strong communication, collaboration with Sales, Channel, and Customer Success teams, and ability to lead RFx responses, demos, and technical conversations. Expected to lead opportunities alongside Account Executives from discovery to close, with a growth path toward field readiness and platform certification. Location-based in Bangalore with travel expectations.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years professional experience as a pre-sales technical resource in an enterprise software company
- 3+ years working with Identity, Governance and Access Management solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- A working knowledge of technical infrastructure including application servers, databases, virtualization and directories is required
- Familiarity with Java, XML, LDAP, SQL is desirable
- Understanding of Cloud platforms like Azure, Google and AWS is desirable
- Ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that address customer needs and are supported by key customer technical decision-makers
- Lead and engage in technical conversations with customers
- Work with Product team to improve roadmap based on technical experience with customers
- Understand and explain Identity Security processes, deployment models & best practices
