Job Summary
Lead technical solution development for complex pursuits across the Mission Technology Solutions portfolio, shaping customer requirements through early engagement and market research. Develop proposal content including technical volumes, white papers, and Basis of Estimates, while responding to RFIs and market surveys. Apply advanced methodologies such as Digital Engineering, Model-Based Systems Engineering, DevSecOps, Agile software development, and Cloud architectures with a strong emphasis on Cybersecurity and System of Systems integration. Mentor teams and foster collaboration across internal and external stakeholders. Requires a public trust security clearance, 18+ years of industry experience, and 12+ years in business development. Remote position with moderate travel (20-50%).
Required Qualifications
- Eligibility to obtain a public trust security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Engineering, Computer Science, or related field)
- Advanced degree
- Minimum 18 years of industry experience
- 12+ years of industry experience
- 6+ years of business development experience
- Proven experience in one or more mission areas: Defense, Intelligence, Civilian Space, or Homeland Security
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical solution development for complex proposals
- Experience writing technical volumes, whitepapers, and developing Basis of Estimates (BOEs)
- Ability to respond to RFIs, market surveys, and support customer shaping efforts
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to mentor teams, foster collaboration, and engage stakeholders
- Strong communication and presentation skills for interfacing with customers and internal leadership
Desired Qualifications
- Strong background in multiple technical disciplines and areas of expertise, including Cybersecurity, System of Systems integration, IT infrastructure, Cloud, Autonomy, Data Analytics/AI, Agile Software Development, Digital Engineering including Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), or DevSecOps
- Active security clearance
