Job Summary
Senior Solution Architect to drive the design and implementation of Shell’s Energy Trade & Risk Management (ETRM) solution (OpenLink Endur) on Azure. You’ll shape a scalable, secure, cloud-native ETRM landscape for the Trading & Supply business, guiding architectural decisions from concept to execution, aligning with Shell’s standards, and enabling data-centric transformation across deal inception to settlement. The role emphasizes leadership, integration of business processes with data and security, architectural governance, and collaboration with stakeholders to deliver modern trading capabilities and flexible, resilient systems. The position offers flexible working hours with the possibility of remote/mobile working, and is based in Shell India with Bangalore as the primary location.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Trading IT
- Hands-on expertise with OpenLink Endur (ETRM)
- Experience delivering software and architecture for trading systems
- TOGAF or similar enterprise architecture framework experience
- Ability to lead architectural decisions across portfolios
- Experience with Azure cloud platform and cloud-native design
- CI/CD delivery experience with Git/GitHub/VSTS/Azure DevOps
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in trading environments
- Ability to document high-level and detailed designs
- Experience with data architectures and data management in large-scale environments
- Knowledge of events, messaging, and API management technologies
- Experience with containerization and microservices patterns
- Experience integrating business processes, data, applications, and security
