Job Summary

Design enterprise-level technology solutions supporting AI, data, and mission systems by developing architectures that integrate cloud services, analytics platforms, and enterprise applications. Conduct architecture reviews to provide technical recommendations for modernization and migration initiatives across legacy and modern IT environments. Collaborate with program leadership and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions for CDAO stakeholders while ensuring quality deliverables. Manage multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment, communicating effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups. Requires on-site presence five days a week and an active Secret security clearance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in solution architecture or systems architecture
  • Experience designing enterprise IT solutions supporting federal programs
  • Active Secret security clearance required (or higher)
  • Ability to work on-site 5 days a week
  • Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals
  • Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting DoD, CDAO, Joint Staff, or Combatant Command digital modernization, AI, data analytics, or enterprise technology initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing cloud-native and hybrid architectures leveraging AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, microservices, and API-driven integrations
  • Experience leading architecture efforts for large-scale system modernization, application migration, and enterprise platform integration within federal environments
  • Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF, or equivalent
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting, as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues
  • Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, and previous customer service experience strongly desired
