Senior Solution Architect - 12 Month Max Term

Senior Solution Architect within the CHESS Replacement program, shaping the evolution of Release 2 to extend settlement functionality and platform capabilities. Design and deliver architecture across core settlement, integration, data, security, and cloud platforms; ensure effective integration of vendor solutions and ASX enterprise platforms to deliver a resilient, high-performance, and regulatory-compliant ecosystem. Focus on event-driven architecture patterns (Kafka, AMQP), cloud-native AWS services (EKS, MWAA, S3, EC2, IAM), and modern integration approaches (FIX, APIs, batch orchestration). Lead design, documentation, and partnerships across Business Analysis, Delivery, Infrastructure, IT Service Ownership, Quality Engineering, Solution Engineering and Testing. Ensure alignment with Enterprise IT Strategy and Architecture principles; collaborate with Engineering to maintain software integrity and reusability. Demonstrated experience with mission-critical, high-volume environments and markets trading in financial services. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; experience in hybrid (legacy/cloud/SaaS/PaaS/IaaS) architectures; full SDLC in traditional and agile methodologies; development of non-functional requirements.
