Senior Solid Waste Engineer

Manage and coordinate the development, design, and permitting of multiple solid waste projects simultaneously. Prepare designs, permit applications, and technical calculations to acquire regulatory approvals and present feasibility findings to stakeholders. Maintain project schedules, develop timelines, and coordinate with subcontractors to complete jobs within budget guidelines while mitigating risks. Act as the direct point of contact for clients and stakeholders, assisting the business development team with proposal preparation. Mentor junior staff and proactively develop solutions for non-routine conditions. This role is available in the Ashland, VA or Cary, NC offices.
