Job Summary
Senior Solicitor in the Family Law Service for Aboriginal Communities leads high-quality legal advice across care and protection, family law, and domestic violence matters; supervises, mentors and supports other solicitors; manages a caseload and ensures compliance with policies and requirements; focused on delivering culturally appropriate, client-centred legal services to disadvantaged Aboriginal clients; contributes to leadership within the team to build capability and deliver fair outcomes across NSW.
Required Qualifications
- Be admitted or eligible for admission as a legal practitioner in NSW
- Have Legal Qualification/s
- Be a Registered practitioner of the High Court of Australia as per provisions of section 55B of the Judiciary Act 1903 (Cth)
- Hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency or a valid visa to work in Australia
