Senior Solar Energy Analyst (CA)

Job Summary
Conduct long-term solar resource and energy production assessments for utility-scale, distributed, commercial, industrial, community, residential, and hybrid renewable energy projects. Analyze solar and climatic datasets, perform energy modeling, predict energy production, and conduct statistical uncertainty analyses. Evaluate operational production data from solar plants, derive modeling parameters, assess system losses including degradation, and support bankable energy yield assessments for project development, financing, acquisition, and operational decision-making. Prepare technical reports, collaborate on assumptions and methodologies, communicate findings to customers and stakeholders, and perform technical review and quality assurance activities. Contribute to process improvements, support the development and maintenance of analytical tools and software workflows, and ensure the latest industry methods, tools, and technologies are implemented.
