Job Summary
Lead on-site residential solar installations, supervise crews, coordinate safety and quality inspections, mentor trainees and On-the-Job Trainees, manage documentation and reports, coordinate with vendors for equipment issues, ensure compliance with safety standards and permit requirements, provide excellent customer service, and translate technical concepts for customers; drive performance toward monthly goals and maintain high workmanship quality for Civic Works’ solar program.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of solar installation experience is required
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have extensive technical experience, expertise, and/or industry knowledge of residential construction
- Must have proven experience leading installation crews in the field
- Experience training new solar installers
- Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, NABCEP PV Associate and/or PV Installer Professional) are a plus
