Job Summary
Senior Software Quality Engineer responsible for quality testing and automation across the enterprise application portfolio at Oncourse Home Solutions. Located in Naperville, IL with a regular in-office hybrid schedule (in-office 2 days per week). Responsibilities include creating test strategies and plans, designing and executing test cases with an Automation First approach, logging and managing defects, and communicating statuses and mitigation plans. Requires collaboration with project teams and stakeholders, leadership in continuous product improvement, strong problem-solving skills, customer-focused mindset, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications include 6+ years in quality engineering, 3+ years automating with Selenium/Postman/Cucumber, 2+ years SQL, API/webservices testing, experience with AWS/Azure, Oracle EBS or Salesforce, Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in Quality Engineering
- 3+ years of hands-on automation testing with Selenium, Postman, Cucumber/Gherkin, IDEs (AccelQ preferred)
- 2+ years SQL
- API/JSON/webservices testing experience
- Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or Salesforce/Force.com
- Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to collaborate across core teams and with business and technology groups
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and IT operations leadership experience)
- Certification in testing practices would be a plus
