Job Summary
Senior Software Verification & Validation Engineer responsible for designing test cases and test plans, automating testing with Python (PyTest) and NI LabVIEW/TestStand, and conducting both automated and manual verification of software for industrial electronics hardware used in power generation and marine applications. Role involves collaboration with embedded/OS software developers to ensure software quality, expanding automated test frameworks, and performing testing on real targets with Hardware in the Loop. Requires 4-6 years of software testing experience, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering/computer science field, strong NI LabVIEW and/or Python scripting skills, experience with test automation and CI systems, and familiarity with laboratory instrumentation; Polish and English communication skills are required. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Between 4-6 years of experience in software testing
- Proficient in NI LabVIEW programming and/or Python scripting
- Experience with test automation
- Requirements management tools and version control
- Ability to use laboratory equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, DAQ, logic analyzers)
- Knowledge of NI TestStand, LabVIEW FPGA (advantage)
- ISTQB Foundation Level certificate (advantage)
- CI systems (Jenkins or Bamboo)
- Experience working with embedded/OS software
- Good communication skills in Polish and English
