Senior Software Test Engineer

Job Summary
Design, implement, and execute comprehensive testing strategies to ensure software quality, including developing automated and manual test plans and frameworks. Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across multiple platforms while identifying and tracking defects using JIRA. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to resolve issues, monitor test results, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement. Mentor junior engineers in testing methodologies and tools. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency in Python, Java, Playwright, and Selenium.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, including automation and manual testing
- Strong understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, and Agile practices
- Proficiency in test automation tools Playwright, Selenium, JUnit, LoadRunner
- Hands-on experience with programming languages Python, Java
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and API testing
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- ISTQB or equivalent certification
- Experience with cloud-based testing environments
- Knowledge of performance and security testing
- Ability to work in multi-vendor and cross-functional environments
