Job Summary
Senior Software Implementation Specialist responsible for leading technical software deployments for Journal Technologies’ eCourt projects. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, environment setup and install, configuration/development, training, go-live, data mapping and data conversion validation, report/template development, and ongoing client support. Requires strong experience with configuring and delivering complex software solutions, familiarity with Velocity development (Groovy scripting preferred), and the ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor team members, and collaborate with customers. Travel may be required; role supports remote or office work across North America and worldwide. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 9+ years with relational databases, and proven ability to design and test technical solutions, plus strong communication and teamwork skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 9+ years of professional, full-time experience with relational databases (T-SQL/PL-SQL)
- Experience as an Implementation Specialist or in software deployment/systems integration
- Ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot server and application logs
- Demonstrated ability to design, document, and execute test plans (unit and end-to-end)
- Strong verbal and written communication for technical audiences
- Experience mentoring and training junior staff
- Ability to travel as needed to support project implementations, training, and go-live events
- Experience working within Agile teams or training in Scrum/Agile methodologies
