Job Summary
Lead and head a cryptographic software team responsible for mission-critical embedded cryptographic software for next-generation U.S. military crypto products; guide development including quantum-resistant encryption, with NSA review and collaboration across hardware, FPGA, and systems design; manage hiring, staffing, and cross-functional collaboration; drive pursuit activities, technical excellence, and program performance using EVM and risk management; oversee compliance with regulatory standards and ensure successful delivery across pursuit, development, release, and sustainment; onsite leadership in California with a focus on secure communications and embedded cryptographic solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading engineering teams, including mentoring, task delegation, and cross-functional collaboration in a technical development environment
- Experience in program execution, including bidding, project planning, Earned Value Management (EVM), and risk and opportunity management
- Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
