Job Summary
Build applications that help small business owners monitor their operations, boost reputation, and engage customers using proprietary data and next-generation SaaS. Create front-end and back-end web applications with JavaScript frameworks like React or AngularJS, leveraging Ruby on Rails, Express, or Django. Collaborate with Product and Design teams to define essential features, while working with data science to assemble product value from rich core datasets and develop self-driving applications. Architect solutions using AWS, microservices, and Docker where applicable, ensuring RESTful APIs and responsive CSS implementations. Join an agile, cross-functional team driving data-driven decision-making for over 100,000 merchants across 400+ verticals.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years overall development experience
- Experienced in Web application development, able to work on both front-end and back-end portions of an application
- Extensive experience with Javascript fundamentals and frameworks such as AngularJS or React
- Strong understanding of semantic HTML, responsive CSS
- Experience developing Ruby applications
- Experience with web application frameworks such as Rails, Express, Django
Desired Qualifications
- Can architect solutions based on AWS, Microservices and Docker
- Knowledge and experience with Java
- Versed in SQL with an understanding of data stores like Redis
- Knows how to build RESTful apis
