Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer to drive design and delivery of scalable Java-based solutions in the COO Technology suite for lending services. Responsibilities include leading moderately complex initiatives, contributing to large-scale strategic planning, designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting projects, reviewing technical challenges, resolving issues, and providing technical leadership to less experienced staff. Collaboration with peers, stakeholders, and mid-level managers to achieve goals, and guiding projects to meet client needs. Desired familiarity with DevOps, cloud-native patterns, and distributed architectures is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience
- Hands-on with Java and distributed technologies both on-premises and cloud
- Strong in Java/JEE and Spring
- JavaScript
- RESTful web services
- UI frameworks
- Microservices understanding
- JUnit
- GitHub
- Maven or Gradle
- SQL and NoSQL databases
- MQ, Solace, Kafka messaging
- Security vulnerability remediation
- Test driven development
