Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer at Wells Fargo on the CT A&E team delivering enterprise-level capabilities for DCMS Cloud Migration. You will lead moderately complex initiatives, contribute to large-scale planning, design, code, test, debug, and document projects, review technical challenges, resolve issues, and guide a team to meet client needs while aligning with policies and compliance. Collaborate with peers and mid-level managers to achieve goals, and act as an escalation point to lead projects. Proficiency expected across CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins, release management), cloud/container tech (PCF/AKS/Azure/K8s), automation scripting (Bash, Shell, Terraform, PowerShell), observability/monitoring (Elastic, Kibana, Grafana, Splunk), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and databases (MongoDB, SQL/NoSQL). Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for working with developers, operations teams, and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent.
- 4+ years' experience working with one or more CI/CD Pipeline (GitHub), Harness/Spinnaker & Release management
- Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings)
- Hands-on experience with Cloud & Container technologies: PCF/AKS/Azure/OCP/K8s
- Hands on experience with Automation Scripting: Bash, Shell, Terraform, Azure DevOps
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Knowledge on database technologies: MongoDB, SQL/No SQL DB
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Observability/Monitoring tools: Elastic, Kibana, Grafana, AppDynamics, Kafka, Splunk
- Understanding of CI/CD tooling: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Release management
- Experience with middleware messaging platforms: IBM MQ
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
