Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer, Vault role focused on building and scaling Alt Vault as a standalone business unit. Responsible for automating vault pipelines, designing ingestion/grading/pricing workflows for multiple asset classes (cards, watches, art, sealed wax), architecting Vault-as-a-Service infrastructure, and delivering end-to-end full-stack features from design through polished UI. You’ll own the tech stack across backend and frontend (Python, Postgres, AWS; React/React Native), contribute to API and billing/infrastructure, optimize imaging and 360-degree views for digital assets, document design decisions, participate in code reviews, and mentor teammates. The position emphasizes ownership, operational excellence, real-world asset handling, partner integrations, and building scalable infrastructure for an enterprise-facing platform. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of backend experience (Python, Postgres, AWS or similar cloud infrastructure) and frontend experience (React, React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript)
- A track record of owning features or systems from design to production
- Strong collaboration and communication skills — you write great docs, ask smart questions, and give thoughtful feedback
