Job Summary
Architect, build, and maintain production-grade real-time video processing pipelines, driving deployment across diverse hardware platforms from edge devices to the cloud. Optimize the runtime efficiency of advanced AI models and Computer Vision algorithms to ensure flawless real-world performance. Translate research breakthroughs into stable, high-performance software products while acting as a technical anchor to mentor junior engineers and shape engineering culture. Requires 5+ years of software engineering experience, deep proficiency in Python and Linux, and leadership in mentoring roles. Based in Tel Aviv with a hybrid work model.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience in an academic or industrial setting
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field
- Deep proficiency in Python
- Extensive experience developing in a Linux environment
- Experience mentoring junior engineers or acting as a Tech Lead
- A 'builder' mentality—you have the ability and desire to work in the fast-paced, dynamic environment of an early-stage company
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of deep learning concepts, state-of-the-art Computer Vision research, and the mathematics behind machine learning
- Proficiency in popular computational and deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Experience with video protocols and streaming tools (Gstreamer, FFmpeg)
- Hands-on experience with hardware integration, ROS, serial communications, or camera calibration tools
