Job Summary
Senior Software Developer role focused on designing and implementing complex features for Trolley’s payouts platform. You’ll work closely with Product and Data teams on secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions, guide architectural decisions, perform code reviews, and mentor teammates. The role involves documenting best practices, system designs, and design specifications, and driving collaboration across engineering to remove blockers. Key tech and practices include TypeScript/JavaScript/Node.js, PostgreSQL, AWS services (EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch), REST/GraphQL, Docker, Terraform, React, and AI tooling (Claude AI, Cursor). | Our environment emphasizes ownership, prototyping, and iterative improvement, with a focus on scalable platform components and integration with external systems. The position is remote from Canada, with an emphasis on delivering secure and performant software within an engineering-driven culture.
