Job Summary
Senior Full-Stack Engineer to develop and maintain multi-step transfer journeys across transfer products. Own the full stack (React frontends, AWS Lambda BFF layers) and the full delivery lifecycle from feature development through production. Drive technical strategy for the transfers domain, champion continuous improvement, contribute to architectural decisions, collaborate with platform teams, and mentor other engineers.
Required Qualifications
- Senior Full-Stack Engineer experience
- Proficiency in React frontends
- Experience with AWS serverless backends
- Node.js with TypeScript
- AWS Lambda development (SST and CDK)
- API Gateway REST/V1 with authorizers and routing
- Middy middleware framework
- DynamoDB, SNS, Secrets Manager, SSM Parameter Store
- RESTful API design and OpenAPI specifications
- VPC networking and IAM concepts
- SST v2 or Serverless Stack familiarity
- CI/CD using GitLab pipelines
- Testing with Vitest and Playwright for E2E
- Contract testing (Pact)
- Monorepo tooling (pnpm/npm workspaces)
- OAuth/token-based authentication
- Cross-service integration patterns
- Security and infrastructure as code practices
- Financial services domain experience
- Ability to drive technical roadmaps and aligning with organisational strategy
