Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer on the Trade PMR team responsible for evolving the Fusion backend platform. Architect scalable .NET/AWS services delivering a holistic view of client data for advisors, enabling Dual Custody and Robinhood custodied accounts. Lead design and implementation of high-impact software services, drive the technical roadmap, and build infrastructure to support larger advisors and increased client activity. Mentor mid-level and junior engineers, ensure high availability, safety, and performance of the core Fusion software, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align engineering efforts with the broader strategy for the RIA/Wealth Management domain. This role is based in New York, NY with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency in backend development using .NET technologies
- Experience architecting and deploying services on cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
- Experience building and maintaining complex integrations (APIs, inbound/outbound data flows, and infrastructure scaling)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-changing environment and manage multiple high-priority workstreams
- Strong communication skills and a track record of mentoring or guiding other engineers
