Job Summary
Senior Software Tools Engineer on Medtronic's Cardiac Ablation Software Team. Design, build, and maintain custom tools, scripts, and dashboards to support software development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Collaborate with software engineers, QA, and technical leaders to understand needs and deliver tailored solutions, identify opportunities to improve tools and processes, and generate automated reports and test protocols that provide actionable insights into software performance and quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience OR PhD with 0 years relevant experience
- Knowledge of Medical device software development, IEC-62304 and FDA guidance in a technical discipline, preferably software related
- Experience with tools like JIRA, Gitlab, Artifactory, and AWS, including API integration and automation
- Proficient in programming languages such as Flutter/Dart, Python, C++/C# or similar languages
- Strong understanding of good documentation practices
- Experience with software version control systems, such as Git
- Experience with Docker and Linux
- Experience with Agile development
- Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial drive
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
