Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Build and deliver features within the Thyme Box internal care management platform, enabling over 600 care team members to navigate clinical and non-clinical services for cancer patients. Connect with the agile engineering team to learn the tech stack while partnering with Product to scope experiments and shape new ideas that improve member outcomes. Work closely with oncology leaders to solve evolving business problems through technical solutions that surface ancillary benefits and triage patient touch points efficiently. Surface data from multiple sources to keep the care team updated on patient status and take ownership of mentoring junior engineers to foster technical excellence.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience building, shipping, and supporting software in production
  • Experience working in fast-paced, early stage environments
  • Strong experience with web development
  • Experience building single-page applications in stacks similar to Vue.js/TypeScript, FastAPI/Python, and Postgres
  • Experience taking ownership of features from idea to production, including design, implementation, testing, and ongoing improvements
  • Experience collaborating closely with engineers, product, and cross-functional partners
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical tradeoffs and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfort with ambiguity

Desired Qualifications
