Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable full-stack software systems in the clean energy space. Lead full-stack development using TypeScript, Node.js, JavaScript, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS; maintain internal platforms (Microsoft Dynamics, Power Platform basics, and related systems); leverage AI-powered development tools to improve velocity and quality; collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex workflows into technical solutions; mentor engineers across US-based and offshore teams; manage deployment pipelines, performance optimization, and scalable architectures in Azure; contribute to development standards, AI usage guidelines, and engineering best practices; stay current with emerging technologies and promote AI-enabled enhancements. Requirements include leadership experience, ability to work with non-technical stakeholders, familiarity with design handoff from Figma, and strong cloud and DevOps discipline.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js
- Proficiency in Python (backend)
- Frontend proficiency with Next.js and Tailwind CSS
- Experience building and shipping AI-enabled features or using AI-assisted development tools
- Experience leading technical initiatives and architectural decisions
- Experience translating business requirements for technical teams
- Experience with design handoff from Figma and delivering polished UX
- Experience deploying, scaling, and optimizing applications in Microsoft Azure or other cloud providers
- Strong Git workflows (GitHub, Azure DevOps) and agile practices (Jira)
- Experience collaborating with distributed teams including offshore developers
