Job Summary
Develop code enabling cars to intelligently monitor cabin environments to improve safety and human-vehicle interactions. Tune, customize, and configure the Automotive SDK for vehicle production programs, adapting software to customer-specific hardware and operating systems. Build, test, and deliver new AI products while optimizing C++ performance to reduce memory and CPU utilization. Support teammates in code reviews and assist in rolling out capabilities across production programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of professional C++ programming
- Solid experience developing on Linux
- Multi-core programming experience
- Experience in optimizing code to reduce size, memory/CPU utilization
- Ability to support team members in reviewing and completing their tasks
- Basic understanding of machine learning and computer vision
Desired Qualifications
- Experience delivering software for automotive production programs including applying ASPICE and ISO 26262 Functional Safety processes to achieve the ASIL requirements
- Experience using automated tools for unit testing, performance testing, and static/dynamic code analysis
- Experience with CMake, Docker, Git, Gitlab and Jenkins
- Programming experience in Python
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a consistent track record of success at startups
- Track record of mentoring junior engineers to improve code quality, productivity, and team effectiveness
