Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer, Rust responsible for building low-latency data pipelines that power AI-driven insights and real-time officiating decisions. Collaborate across computer vision, automated event detection, and augmentation; develop performant code for cloud and on-premise environments; design autonomous systems that scale; create tools to accelerate developer productivity and team velocity. Qualifications include 5+ years in the field, expertise in low-latency, real-time systems, and Rust or other systems languages. Preferred: DAGs and actor model, live events, message brokers (Pulsar, RabbitMQ, ZMQ), DevOps with Linux/CMake/Docker/Kubernetes, NVIDIA CUDA. Salary range $175,000–$220,000 annually; office-first with hybrid models and occasional travel.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience
- Experience with optimizing and benchmarking low-latency, real-time systems
- Proficiency in writing Rust and/or other systems-level languages
- Understanding of asynchronous code execution, multi-threading, and high-performance applications
- Proven technical leadership and strong communication skills
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Enthusiasm towards framework development and developer experience
- Learning and mentoring mentality
