Job Summary
Build complex Ruby on Rails applications and server-side infrastructure for the Workato user interface. Contribute across all phases of the development lifecycle by writing well-designed, testable, efficient code and collaborating with UI, connectivity, and DevOps teams to solve complex problems. Evaluate and propose improvements to the existing system while investigating alternatives for architectural review. Requires a BS/MS in Computer Science, 7+ years of Rails experience, and strong PostgreSQL and Redis skills.
Required Qualifications
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- 7+ years of experience developing, shipping and maintaining Rails applications
- Strong knowledge of Ruby
- Excellent debugging, analytical, problem-solving, and social skills
- Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming and design
- Experience with relational database systems (PostgreSQL) and Redis-based / Memcached caching
