Job Summary
Design and build Anduril-wide cloud systems that host ingestion pipelines, storage, and tooling to carry vehicle telemetry from onboard systems to the cloud. Normalize data across flight controllers, vehicle management systems, mission systems, and sensor payloads, then expose it to downstream analysis tools. Build reliable, high-availability systems for large-scale batch ingestion and low-latency streaming, while developing edge-compatible capabilities for offline capture and classified environments. Partner closely with business line engineering teams to understand specific data requirements and iteratively deliver solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with modern lakehouse architectures (Iceberg, Delta Lake)
- Experience with ETL systems (Flyte, Dagster, Airflow, Argo Workflows)
- Experience with distributed data processing engines (Spark, Trino, etc.)
- Experience developing and operating high-throughput streaming data pipelines (leveraging systems like Spark Streaming, Flink, Kafka)
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, Rust, and/or Go
- Experience building and operating cloud systems, including common containerization and deployability technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps systems like FluxCD / ArgoCD)
- U.S. Person status
- Eligibility to obtain/maintain a US Top Secret clearance
