Job Summary
Lead the Revenue Recognition engineering team by guiding technical design, conducting code reviews, and mentoring developers on clean, efficient code. Collaborate with product stakeholders to architect robust, scalable systems using Go-Lang and Javascript/Typescript while diagnosing complex issues and optimizing performance. Drive innovation through iterative Agile practices, stay current with emerging technologies, and ensure high standards for security and stability across the platform.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced experience as a hands-on Software Engineer
- 8+ years of industry experience
- Strong knowledge and expertise in Go-Lang
- Ruby on Rails platform
- Proven experience in designing and building out infrastructure and architecture
- Experience in designing and developing systems that can operate at scale
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies
- Demonstrated capability to provide technical mentoring and guidance to other developers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to hold oneself and others accountable to high standards
- A track record of applying analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Capability to assess and recommend appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks
- A passion for continuous learning
- A mindset that emphasizes measuring the impact of engineering decisions
- Ensuring security best practices
- Maintaining system stability
Desired Qualifications
- Ideally with 8+ years of industry experience
- Willingness to learn to build highly scalable, maintainable services in RoR
- Proficiency in utilizing AI-driven tools and coding assistants (e.g.,Claude Code, Gemini)
- Understanding of accounting, revenue recognition and ASC 606
- Experience with Javascript/Typescript
- Experience with Go-LangRuby/Ruby on Rails platform
