Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary
Lead day-to-day technical delivery for the project Phase 2 across web, mobile, API, and data integration workstreams; act as the primary client-facing technical contact in Japanese and bridge discussions, documents, and decisions to English-speaking teammates; translate business and operational requirements into technical specifications, scoped tasks, milestones, and ownership; drive issue, risk, dependency, and timeline management to keep delivery predictable and on track; review architecture, code quality, debugging approach, and implementation plans; contribute hands-on when needed; coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and support critical enhancements and bug fixes.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- 1+ years as a tech lead, technical project lead, or similar delivery ownership role
- Business-level or native Japanese for client communication
- Strong English communication for explaining technical concepts to teammates
- Proven delivery of production web, API, and cloud systems
- Strong requirements definition, task breakdown, risk management, and stakeholder coordination skills
- Hands-on enough to review architecture, code, debugging, and quality
