Job Summary
Senior Quality Engineer role focused on leading quality engineering strategy, designing and maintaining automated test frameworks, hands-on test automation, and mentoring QA teams. Collaborate with vendors, IT leadership, and business units to drive automation priorities, promote automated testing solutions, define quality standards, and report key quality metrics. Drive end-to-end quality execution, improve testability and reliability, and apply GenAI tools to enhance testing efficiency across insurance policy administration applications. Requires strong experience with Agile/SAFe, multiple automation tools, DevOps, cloud familiarity, and cross-browser testing; hybrid office schedule at specified US locations.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in leading Quality engineering teams
- Experience with Java, JavaScript/Typescript, Python
- Experience with test automation tools – Playwright, Karate, BDD, Selenium, Blazemeter/JMeter, Test Data Management tools
- Experience with DevOps tools chain (Sonar, Nexus, Jenkins, uDeploy, Git, Splunk, Dynatrace, Terraform, AppScan, Checkmarx, CA DevTest)
- Experience with cross browser testing – BrowserStack, Selenium Grid, OpenShift
- Experience with GenAI – GitHub Copilot, and Model Context Protocol
- Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum/SAFe
- Knowledge of AWS and/or GCP cloud technology
- Nice to have Insurance & Financial services domain knowledge
- Experience with reporting tools – Extent, Tableau, Power BI
- Ability to work in a hybrid schedule (Columbus, OH; Chicago, IL; Hartford, CT; Charlotte, NC) 3 days a week
