Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer to design and deliver the next-generation Release Platform and DevOps tooling for 3000+ engineers. You’ll build robust, scalable, policy-driven, observable software delivery frameworks; enhance CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows; implement policy-as-code with Open Policy Agent; create self-service deployment capabilities; embed security guardrails and auditability; establish observability practices (monitoring, logging, tracing); implement deployment patterns (blue/green, canary, rolling updates) with fail-safe rollback; mentor junior engineers and partner with platform, security, and infrastructure teams; and drive adoption of open-source technologies to boost developer productivity and system resilience.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience building internal developer platforms and DevOps tooling for large-scale organizations
- Experience with Python, Golang (Go), .NET and TypeScript, React for building scalable platform services
- Deep experience with Kubernetes including namespace management, service discovery, network policies, ingress/egress management, and service mesh
- Strong proficiency with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or other CI/CD platforms
- Practical experience implementing GitOps workflows
- Scripting: Bash, Python
- Deep knowledge of deployment patterns (blue/green, canary, rolling updates) and automated rollout
- Policy-as-Code experience with Open Policy Agent (OPA) and Rego
- Cloud networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, ingress controllers
- Multi-cloud experience (Azure, AWS, GCP) with containerized deployments
- Troubleshooting and debugging for deployments, performance, and networks
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across infra, platform, SRE, and application teams
- Experience with Open Source tooling and developer productivity enhancements
