Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer at Pindrop designing, developing, and deploying high-performance services and APIs in Go and Python on a cloud-focused platform. Work includes building production-ready code from design through deployment, code reviews aimed at performance, scale, and security, and collaboration across software engineers, test engineers, research scientists, and product managers. The role involves on-call rotations with night/weekend work, using AWS (Kinesis, DynamoDB, S3) and GCP native products, and leveraging containers and DevOps practices (Kubernetes, CI/CD with Jenkins/GitHub Actions) to deliver scalable cloud-based services. The candidate should have strong communication, problem-solving, and adaptability, with expertise in data structures, algorithms, and concurrency, plus experience in monitoring/observability (Prometheus, Grafana) and troubleshooting production issues. Remote-first with US-based remote eligibility, 5-7 years of experience, and a salary range of $130k-$170k.”,
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of software development experience
- Experience with designing and implementing highly scalable cloud-based APIs
- Experience with multiple programming languages, such as Python and Go
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps practices towards deployment of SaaS services, including hands-on experience with Jenkins, Github Actions, implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- experience with managing and maintaining applications in a multi-container environment, such as Kubernetes
- Knowledge of data storage technologies such as Redis, MySQL
- Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes
- Experience developing and maintaining services using AWS native products such as Kinesis, DynamoDB, and S3
- Linux Proficiency
