Job Summary
Design, develop, test, and maintain secure, scalable software applications and APIs using C# or Java within Agile teams across the full SDLC. Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests while supporting CI/CD automation and DevSecOps practices. Troubleshoot technical issues, participate in code reviews, and provide technical guidance to mentor or lead engineers where required. Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with business needs. This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful public sector digital initiatives and requires a security clearance as part of the hiring process.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related discipline
- 4+ years of software development experience
- Strong commercial experience in either C# or Java
- Good understanding of OOP, REST APIs, microservices, databases and SDLC practices
- Experience with Agile/Scrum, code reviews, automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
- Security clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, Kubernetes and cloud/DevSecOps environments
