Job Summary
Build and evolve the AWS and Kubernetes footprint to enable rapid software development, designing Terraform modules, Helm charts, and GitHub Actions workflows that engineers use to ship applications. Implement actionable monitors and runbooks for environmental stability, refactor internal code into reusable versioned packages, and design strategies for client data segregation. Partner with security and product teams to secure the CI/CD pipeline and provide runtimes for Node.js, React, and Next.js applications. Augment daily work with agent skills and generative AI while staying current on industry tooling to continuously improve platform practices. This fully remote role supports SmarterDx's clinical AI platform, which helps hospitals recover revenue and improve quality metrics by interpreting patient data.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Full-lifecycle development and debugging experience in Python, Go, and JavaScript/TypeScript environment
- Proven experience in web based software development
- Drives change through continually improving processes and advocating to make changes simpler and faster to deploy
- Knowledge about Platforms, data movement, API design standards, patterns, and best-practices for development and for operations
- Knowledge and experience organizing AWS applications in single tenant configurations
- Prior experience in the healthcare sector
