Job Summary
Participate in requirements and solution design sessions, working closely with stakeholders across the organization. Define technical impacts, recommend best-practice approaches, and provide timeline estimates. Test, analyze, and address issues with products and features while collaborating on cross-functional technical designs. Follow an iterative software development methodology, contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle. Articulate development status to both technical and non-technical audiences. This role is located in Broomfield, Colorado, and requires experience with Golang, Next.js, and Ruby on Rails, along with cloud deployment skills using GCP, AWS, or Azure.
Required Qualifications
- Participate in requirements and solution design sessions, working closely with stakeholders from across the entire organization.
- Define technical impacts, recommend best-practice and/or alternate approaches and provide timeline estimates.
- Test, analyze, and address issues with products and features.
- Collaborate on and inform cross-functional teams of new feature technical design, technical requirements, limitations, and implementation.
- Follow an iterative software development methodology and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle and support.
- Articulate development status to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Continually refine business acumen and establish domain/industry vertical expertise.
- Experienced in Golang
- Ruby on Rails, Rust, JavaScript as bonuses
- Experience in building systems to operate at scale
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- Ability to work in multiple programming languages and systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with cloud deployments (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Prior experience working with Docker and Kubernetes
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience
- Knowledge of Golang
- DevOps experience
