Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer for Parking Access: Drive full-stack LPR development and own architecture/design of SKIDATA's Licence Plate Recognition system, focusing on backend excellence, scalability, and reliability. Collaborate in an SCRUM team to refine features, plan sprints, and design stories. Champion test automation and quality, mentor teammates, and contribute to digital and agile transformation initiatives. Requires university degree or equivalent, 5+ years in software development, strong C#/.NET, Angular, RabbitMQ, SQL Server, Windows expertise, and SCRUM experience; English fluency required (German a plus).
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in software development
- Deep expertise in Microsoft technologies: Visual Studio .NET and C#
- Strong knowledge of web development frameworks, particularly Angular
- Experience with RabbitMQ
- Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server
- In-depth knowledge of the Windows operating system
- Proficiency in agile software development processes (SCRUM)
- Fluent English (written and spoken); knowledge of German is a plus
