Job Summary
Architect and implement scalable backend systems and APIs ensuring high performance, reliability, and security. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions covering customer onboarding, license management, and offboarding while integrating with internal and external systems. Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain quality standards, and mentor junior engineers or lead projects based on seniority. This role supports mission-critical applications for major restaurant chains including Chick-fil-A and KFC within our Mountain View office, where teams work onsite five days a week.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Java
- Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Exposure to large-scale data processing or event-driven architectures
