Senior Software Engineer - Oracle PL SQL

Job Summary
Deliver new projects driven by customer requirements, including modifications to existing applications, bespoke client solutions, and support via bug fixing or technical issue resolution. Translate low-level designs into code, write technical design specifications, test cases, and unit tests while producing deliverables within agreed estimates and timescales. Understand code impact across relevant modules, follow quality standards, and conduct peer reviews. Liaise with testing and product teams to resolve issues, escalate complex matters to leadership, and manage releases using configuration procedures. Suggest improvements to development practices to enhance productivity and code quality.
Required Qualifications
- Total Experience - 5-7yrs
- ORACLE SQL 5+
- PL/SQL - Strong PL/SQL Programming skills, experience in writing Database Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, Objects/Collections in PL/SQL 5+
- Databases: ORACLE 10g, 11g, 12c 5+
- Explain Plan and Trace tools for SQL performance tuning 2+
- SQL*Plus 1+
- Oracle APEX [3.0,4.0] 1+
- Toad/SQL Developer 2+
- XML/HTML 1+
- Ability to translate LLD into code
- Ability to write Unit Test Cases
- Experience of XML, HTML and HTML DB experience
- Experience working in a product environment
- Any Graduate

- Should have strong Analytical Skill
- Should be able to write technical design specifications/documents and test cases
- Should be able to understand Impact of code in relevant modules
- Familiarity with Functional Hierarchy Diagrams, Entity Relationship models and server model design
- Should have strong Analytical Skill and problem-solving skills
- A proven track record of taking ownership of technical issues/assignments and delivering solutions through to conclusion

- Ability to translate LLD into code and able to write Unit Test Cases
