Job Summary
Design, modify, and implement technology solutions for consumer banking applications while building modern, architecturally sound components and tools. Contribute design specifications that prioritize scalability, manageability, and maintainability within distributed service-based frameworks. Collaborate effectively with teammates in an Agile environment to produce disruptive technologies ensuring market leadership. Mentor a group of talented engineers across multiple solutions spanning consumer banking applications. This long-term W2 position requires a 3-day hybrid schedule with in-person interviews and offers competitive compensation. Ideal candidates possess 5+ years of software development experience, including front-end frameworks and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a proven record of successfully launching commercial products.
- 3+ years of experience with collecting requirements, creating software designs, and developing efficient implementations.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a team environment, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Understanding of multiple programming languages, including at least one front-end framework (Angular/React/Vue), such as Python3, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Golang, C, C++, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- 3 days a week hybrid

Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of the banking industry, specifically the functions of custodial and consumer banking.
- Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP.
- Bash and Linux experience.
- Familiarity with full-stack development.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI, Jenkins, or equivalent).
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect.
- Understanding of data structure concepts such as linked lists, dictionaries, arrays, custom object creation, etc
