Job Summary
Design and deploy the microservices and event-driven architecture for the translation industrialization project. Develop and maintain robust, API-first features while collaborating with the Product Manager to define technical roadmaps and functional use cases. Ensure product excellence through code reviews, bug resolution, and API performance optimization. Industrialize the platform by implementing CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and Datadog monitoring to meet key performance indicators. Share technical expertise via workshops to foster Software Craftsmanship within the team. This role is based in Lille with two days of remote work per week. The team operates within Decathlon Digital's global network, focusing on revolutionizing content localization using generative AI and automated translation to optimize catalog distribution for millions of users.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years as a developer
- Strong backend Java expertise
- Confirmed mastery of frontend (React.js / Next.js)
- Solid experience with Cloud Native infrastructures (GCP, Kubernetes, Docker)
- Mastery of distributed architectures
- Knowledge of DDD (Domain-Driven Design) principles
- Knowledge of SOLID patterns
- Experience setting up complete CI/CD pipelines integrating all test layers (Unit, Acceptance, Integration, Load, Contract, E2E with Playwright)
- Comfort with DevOps culture
- Comfort with production monitoring
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, groomings techniques)
