Job Summary
Build, maintain, and improve the infrastructure for technical documentation sites, including CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and frontend changes for help.okta.com and developer.okta.com. Support internal Builder Experience teams and technical writers by managing structured authoring platforms, automation, and user experience enhancements across multiple products and global audiences. Collaborate with DocTool Leads to maintain content structure, versioning, and localization for diverse global audiences while ensuring technical writers remain unblocked in their day-to-day work.
Required Qualifications
- at least 4+ years of development experience
- proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
- proficiency in Python
- knowledge of OpenAPI
- knowledge of the JAMstack architecture
- experience with DITA
- experience with Redocly
- experience with VuePress
- experience with any similar documentation framework
- experience with GitHub
- experience with CircleCI
- experience with Vercel
- experience with Artifactory
- hands-on experience with Generative AI tools
- Good verbal communication skills
- Experience working in an agile environment
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- equivalent work experience
