Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer, Monetization at Postman leading the config-driven platform for packaging, plans and pricing to support pre-purchase workflows and billing; improve data capture for revenue recognition and ARR; develop APIs and internal tools; perform code reviews and mentor peers; collaborate with Product, Design, Support, Security, and Platform teams; build scalable, reliable software across distributed systems; strong expertise in JavaScript/Node.js/TypeScript, databases (MySQL, Redis), and AWS/Kubernetes CI/CD; in-office hubs in SF, Boston, Austin, NYC, Tokyo, London, and Bangalore.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience developing complex, distributed software applications at scale
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript
- Experience with MySQL, Redis
- Strong understanding of ReactJS and web fundamentals
- Strong infrastructure knowledge including AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with architecture design, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration
- Experience building APIs and internal tooling
- Knowledge of monetization platforms including payments, subscriptions, taxes, revenue recognition (bonus)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Bachelor or higher degree not required for this role (education level not specified)
