Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer to join ModMed's Product Development team. Design, develop, and implement complex engineering systems for a cloud-based healthcare IT platform; provide mentorship and technical direction; contribute to the technical roadmap with cross-functional teams; translate complex requirements into actionable deliverables; ensure deliverables meet functional and non-functional criteria; drive continuous improvement through design reviews, code reviews, and operational improvements. Requires a CS-related degree, 10+ years of software development, strong Java/Spring Boot/SQL skills, experience with microservices and REST APIs, unit/API testing, and AWS; prior cloud-native, distributed, SaaS, and leadership experience are highly desirable. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field
- 10+ years of software development experience
- Strong Java/Spring Boot/SQL experience
- Experience with microservices and REST API standards
- Experience in writing Unit and API tests
- Experience with public cloud services, preferably AWS
- Full stack technical leadership experience a plus
- SaaS development experience preferred
