Job Summary
Design, develop, and deploy secure, high-quality software solutions adhering to DoD coding standards and technical design requirements. Build reliable applications supporting mission systems, modify system components, and manage installation, configuration, and deployment of software and operating systems. Participate in test planning, review, and validation while conducting code reviews to improve quality and reliability. Troubleshoot complex defects and document technical designs and architecture. Collaborate with engineering teams, architects, and mission stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with operational requirements. Requires a Master's degree, 10 years of DoD software engineering experience, and active Top Secret/SCI clearance. Based on-site in Hanover, Maryland.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Software Engineer supporting programs within a Department of Defense (DoD) environment
- Active Top Secret / SCI clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Programming, or related field
- Experience developing software in secure government or intelligence environments
- Experience working with DoD software development standards and mission systems
