Job Summary
Design and deliver production-ready native mobile experiences across iOS and Android, focusing on SwiftUI and Jetpack Compose interfaces that are fast, accessible, and intuitive. Build end-to-end features including business logic, offline-aware behavior, and Bluetooth-connected device management for pairing, messaging, SOS, and location sharing. Ship with confidence by practicing shift-left quality through unit, integration, and E2E automation using Appium or Maestro, while strengthening the CI/CD pipeline with GitHub Actions and Fastlane. Leverage agentic AI tools like Cursor and Claude Code to accelerate development, testing, and iteration. Partner with Product and Design to solve complex customer problems, mentor junior engineers, and help shape engineering practices in an AI-first environment.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
- production-grade depth in at least one native mobile platform – iOS (Swift, SwiftUI), or Android (Kotlin, Java, Jetpack Compose)
- experience with some combination of unit tests, integration tests, UI automation, CI/CD, or release tooling
- practical experience using AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, or similar workflows to explore, test, debug, and accelerate engineering work
