Senior Software Engineer - Mobile Connectivity responsible for developing and optimizing Android applications for smart locks, including features for unlocking doors, data synchronization, and over-the-air firmware upgrades via BLE and NFC. Architect efficient mobile-to-cloud communication and collaborate with firmware and backend teams to integrate apps with IoT devices. Focus on performance of Bluetooth/NFC interactions, device-logging analysis, and robust connectivity. Mentor engineers on wireless connectivity and asynchronous programming; stay current with Android SDKs and IoT trends; contribute to multiple apps and the OpenKit SDK to enable third-party unlocks. Telecommuting is permitted and the role involves hands-on work with hardware and firmware tools to diagnose issues and improve system stability.
